Acquario di Cattolica is the largest aquarium in the Adriatic sea and the second in Italy with more than 3,000 type specimens of 400 species among sharks, penguins, otters, stingrays, jellyfish and many other animals in four different paths.

Culture, education, excitement and fun in a unique experience dedicated to adults and children. At the Aquarium of Cattolica you can also admire the nursery areas (with baby sharks hammer, bamboo shark and clown fish) and a path completely dedicated to the families of exotic animals with more than 60 type specimens of 22 terrestrial species (chameleons, iguanas, frogs, insects and snakes, are just some of the specimens that inhabit). It is the only Italian Aquarium to host the Asian otters visible in the Amazonian freshwater setting which also houses specimens of Cuvier's dwarf caiman and piranha herbivores.

Interaction is one of the characteristics of the most loved by visitors: you can live the experience of stroke, with the help of an expert, the stingrays purple, relatives of the races, guests in the large touch tank. With the guidance of biologists is it possible to see the "meals" daily sharks, penguins, otters and stingrays purple. Inside the large shark tank, with over 700 thousand liters of seawater, they are housed 11 specimens of sharks, including bull sharks largest in Italy. An interactive exhibition Sounds of the Sea and the new photo exhibition "A Sea of Colors" enrich the offer.
