Piano Nobile located above the Caffè Pedrocchi, has been realized between 1826 and 1842 by Giuseppe Jappelli. The structure is composed of a succession of rooms, each furnished and decorated in order to recreate the typical setting of a specific historical period: Etruscan vestibule, Greek room, Roman hall, Renaissance hall, Herculane hall, Egyptian room. All the rooms revolve around the ballroom dedicated to Gioacchino Rossini splendor and strength of the Italian song, a large double room in height compared to the others, from the dazzling empire decoration, all inextricably to the music as far as the stucco lyres adorning the ceiling.
Next to the prestigious Piano Nobile of the Pedrocchi Establishment is possible to find the Museo del Risorgimento and of the Contemporary Age, which documents facts and protagonists of the paduan and national history of more than one century.
All ISIC/ITIC/IYTC cardholders showing the valid card at the ticketing office can enjoy the reduced admission ticket (2,50 EUR instead of 4 EUR).
