Clock Tower

5 EUR Off to visit the famous clock tower in Venice

The Clock Tower is one of the most original buildings of Venetian architecture of the early Renaissance. Designed at the end of the 15th century by Mauro Codussi, with its great astronomical Clock, a masterpiece of technique and engineering, the Tower is an essential feature of the image of Venice and for over 500 years it has marked its life, history and the continual passage of time. The tour, which must be pre-booked with a specialized guide, allows visitors to observe the complex mechanisms of the clock from close-up and to step out onto the terrace which offers a splendid view over St Mark’s Square and the entire city.
